So after a long unproductive few months, I decided to put something on tape and get a couple songs out of my head. Here are two new songs written in the new year:
“Open Wide” is a song about faith and opening up your life. Not necessarily a christian song, but sometimes we all get down on ourselves and need to let out and unwind.

“Can’t Keep My Mind Off of You” is a song that originated from playing around too long with my keyboard, it has an 80’s pop feel to the synth sounds and a late 90’s hip hop beat. This song is about not being able to get someone out of your head, even if they think you don’t care about them.

In the process of writing and recording my next E.P. I finished another piece to the puzzle last week with Bill from Spruke.
We recorded another new song, “Losing It” and I think it will make the cut for the E.P.

A quick thank you to all the friends, family, and fans that came to the show at Broadway Joe’s Saturday Night!
The show was a success and Ian will be donating a dollar of all CD sales last night to Roswell Cancer Research.
Another Thanks goes out to Nicole and the Nepenthe, The Great Mistake, and Cry The Union Forever for putting on a great show.
If you weren’t able to make the show I have a few gigs upcoming in September so keep your eye out for those dates.
